JBC Campus of Tongji University International School specializes
in Chinese language and culture training. Its programs aim to

Mandarin including speaking , writing, reading and listening

FULL Time course
Intensive Chinese Class Monday-Friday, 5 days per week, 4 hours
per day.

Curriculum
Beginner Course, Intermediate Course, Advanced Course in
different levels according to the placement test at the first
day of the course.
After completing the beginner program, you will understand daily
conversation and be able to communicate basic phrases the that
are usefull in day to day situations.
Upon completing the intermediate program, you can carry on a
conversation in Chinese and be able to read a commonly used
characters.
After completing the advanced program, you can carry on a
conversation in Chinese in both business and social situations.
Elective activities: Students are encouraged to join our
additional classes and activities in order to enjoy broader
experiences and make friends with local Chinese.
Part-time Program
For students who want to improve their mandarin in their free
time, JBC Campus offers an extremely flexible Part-Time Program
with morning, afternoon, evening and weekend classes and a
variety of course lengths and types.
Length: 3 to 10 weeks of part time study 4 -- 10 class hours per
week, new courses start almost every other week. Part time
program consists of 4 -- 10 lecture hour per week.
You have choices to take the morning, afternoon, evening, or
weekend class, the flexible hours are perfect for some one who
have a job in the day time, or house wives who have free
mornings.
Essential
For total beginners, starting from pinyin, you’ll learn how to
pronounce mandarin starting from the sound, tone and basic
methods of expressing yourself in Mandarin. By the end of this
course, you’ll be able to make simple communication in Chinese,
talking about yourself, family. You’ll learn about numbers,
colours, directions.
Intermediate
You’ve had basic ideas about how ‘pinyin’ system works, and
making simple conversations. It’s time for you to upgrade your
skills in communications, to make your Chinese workable through
this course, you’ll find that living in China is easier. You’ll
learn how to give instructions, how to bargain, order Chinese
food in a restaurant.
Chinese Expert (Advanced)
Your Chinese is good enough to communicate, you have no problem
making a presentation in Chinese or negotiation with Chinese
people, what do you want more? This course will help you to
answer all other questions you might still have about China, the
language, the culture, history, politics, economics, and more!
All our instructors in this course are at least master or PHD
degree holder in different fields, you’ll find it’s exciting to
exchange ideas and information with your classmates and
instructors.
